It’s been quite a while since I updated my website! Sorry about that! I’ve been really busy this year with different projects and have neglected to blog the things that I’ve been doing.
Since the last update I’ve had two ImagineFX magazine Q&A columns published earlier this year and late last year, and I’ve been working on quite a few non-fantasy/sci-fi related projects. When I get more time I will post a few of the newer artworks I’ve been working on.
I’ve added a new video, which is in fact an old video! It’s the first timelapse painting I posted on youtube but the difference this time is that I created the audio track so the copyright is fully mine. The finished picture is already in my gallery but you can watch the video by clicking on the picture above.
I’ve got another two QA’s for you to checkout in this months ImagineFX magazine (issue 80). Follow my step by steps as I show you how to create a creepy spiral staircase, and then find out how to create a perspective grid from scratch in paintshop pro (or just your favorite paint program).
As always there are great pictures and articles for the SF & Fantasy Art enthusiast to enjoy, not to mention workshop and QA’s by other artists to delve into – out now!
I have moved my Site/Blog to a new location but for some viewers it might cause a problem! So heres what to do…

all is well!
Here’s a special reminder just for you!
Not too long ago a friend of mine asked me if I could do something for what he called a “Reem” Party! He told me what he was looking for and I created a painting of a dancing girl for him to use for his companies marketing.
It so happens that my friend works for the Sugar Hut Village night club in Brentwood Essex, and the very same club is heavily featured on the ITV show “The only way is Essex” a pseudo reality program.
I’ve never actually watched the program, but I’ve heard enough about it to ensure that I continue on that course! However I wont object if my picture appears on TV sometime (someone will have to tell me if it does).
Bill Corbett’s artwork on TV! That hasn’t happened since Blue Peter in 1978!! Shutuuuuppppp!!!

Checkout the Art Class is this months ImagineFX magazine (issue 70). I was fortunate enough to mentor a very talented young artist from Brazil by the name of Luisa Rafida. We corresponded over her fantasy painting and I provided help in the form of advice and technical know how. It was really fun to do and Luisa was a great student. You can see the final result on Luisa’s Deviantart art page here
